Custom chat wheel sounds are only available to DOTA 2 battle pass owners for a limited time, but Reddit user joshli shared a custom sound wheel he and his friends created on the r/DotA2 subreddit today. Hamul, is a community driven in-game sound wheel created by three friends for Dota2. It also works with Discord and other voice chat platforms.
“You can use these taglines to coordinate with your team, celebrate your rampage, or lighten the mood in MMR hell […] Through Hamul, people can have more ways to express themselves in-game and connect with other gamers. We hope that Hamul encourages players to communicate when they might be uncomfortable with using their voice or when it would otherwise be inconvenient,” joshli wrote in the reddit post.
Hamul contains a mix of original and popular sounds from popular creators who contributed to the project. However, Hamul for Dota2 is only the beginning. The team behind the sound when software says that it’s already working on making Hamul compatible for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends.
