Youtube and Tribeca are collaborating with 20 other film festival partners to hold the “We Are One: A Global Film Festival,” a 10-day film festival from 29 May to 7 June 2020. The digital festival will feature films, documentaries, comedy, conversation and music curated by representatives from partner film festivals around the world. Content will be streamed from the We Are One Youtube page.

“We often talk about film’s uniquely powerful role in inspiring and uniting people across borders and differences to help heal the world. All of the world needs healing right now. In working with our extraordinary festival partners and YouTube we hope that everyone gets a taste of what makes each festival so unique and appreciates the art and power of film,” Tribeca Enterprises CEO and Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal said.

According to the organizers, viewers will be able to enjoy the streamed content ad-free. The program for the film festival has yet to be finalized but Youtube says it will post updates on the We Are One page. We Are One viewers can donate from the Youtube page and all proceeds will benefit the UN Foundation COVID-19 Relief Fund and local relief providers.
