Super Mario Bros, the well-loved Nintendo classic, is turning 35 this year and Nintendo is expected to have big plans to celebrate.
Multiple sources say that the company plans to remaster most of the games in the Super Mario catalogue for Switch.
Titles include Paper Mario, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario 3D World.
However, Nintendo declined to confirm or comment on the intel, citing that the company “does not comment on rumour and speculation.”
The announcement was supposedly scheduled to be made at the June E3 2020 Conference in Los Angeles.
The E3 cancellation amid the COVID-19 pandemic now leaves Nintendo to find a different medium for the rumored announcement.
