Indie studio Cold Symmetry and its publishing partner Playstack have officially announced a Q3 2020 release for its soulslike action RPG, Mortal Shell. The game is being developed by a dedicated core team composed of 15 people whose previous experience includes some of the biggest AAA titles in the market.
“To finally announce Mortal Shell is one of the most exciting and terrifying experiences we’ve had in our lifetimes. The last two years have been a time of non-stop growth, full of shocking revelations of sheer complexity that goes into creating a video game that you, yourself, would really enjoy playing,” Cold Symmetry co-founders’ studio’s Andrew McLennan-Murray, Anton Gonzalez, and Vitaly Bulgarov said in a joint statement.

Previously known as Dungeonhaven, the action-packed game allows players to occupy the mortal shells of their vanquished enemies and fallen warriors to complete their task. Mortal Shell will be released for Windows PC, Playstation 4, and XBox One later this year, but until then, you might want to try it out by signing up for the limited closed Beta.
